Marketplace items have a limited life cycle. Once they are created, they only exist for a set period of time (usually 24 hours) before they can be purchased back from the account that created them. This makes it a great way for users to interact and support each other in the game. In order to make your Account more marketable and build loyalty amongst players, you may have been experiencing problems creating or buying back Community Market items. If this is the case for you, we apologize for the inconvenience and would like to offer you some help! Your Account is currently unable to use the Community Market because your permissions are set incorrectly. What Are Permissions?
Permissions are the settings that allow you to do practically anything in the game. Once you have a good understanding of what permissions are on your account, you can correct them and gain access to the game’s content as if you had an active license. There are several types of permissions, each with different functions. For example, when you make an account, you are granted certain permissions that allow you to create items, read the game log, send messages, and more. Some permissions are defaulted on for you by the game (e.g. you can create an account), some are requested by the account owner (e.g. you can create a character on my account), and some are optional (e.g. you can accept or decline offers from other players).
What Can Be Done With My Account?
After you have created an account, you can use it to complete a variety of tasks, such as playing the game and creating items. Once you have completed a task, you are granted certain permissions that allow you to do whatever you want with the item you have been rewarded for finishing the task with. For example, if you were rewarded with the Redstone Machine, you could then use that item to build your own machine, provide resources to other players in your server, and send it to them as a gift.
Why Is My Account Unmarketable?
This question comes up a lot and has several possible answers: The item you received has been lying around in your inventory for 30 days. You have used up all of the supplies that were provided. Some players may have created accounts that have had many items in their inventory, and are therefore unable to use them due to this. If this is the case for you, we apologize for the inconvenience and would like to offer you some help! Your account is currently unable to use the community market
This is usually due to a couple of reasons, maybe most importantly being an old account. A lot of players create accounts when they first start playing the game and then never use them. While it’s unlikely that you’ve been doing anything wrong, it’s possible that your account is too old to be marketable in the new game. Basically, when you create an account, the first thing we do is check whether or not it is marketable. If it’s not, we just hold onto it and sell it on the auction house for a profit. If it is marketable, we send it to the account owner and then wait for them to create a character. Once the account is active, we then remove it from the auction house and give it back to the account owner, who has all of the permissions that it once had.
